Chris gave an after dinner speech on our work to the Kirkham & Rural Fylde Rotary Ass. at Ribby Hall. The talk was well received by all who attended the function.

Another 3 complete systems have been given to recipients by Chris. This now brings our total to 70 full machines.

Request:

If anyone could offer me employment I would be very grateful. I have been out of the workplace for a number of years now whilst I cared for my mother but now it is time for me to get back to work. I would love to get a foot in the door of the networking field, but anything would be considered, especially within I.T. I am currently working towards CCNA qualification. If you have anything to offer me please get in touch.

R.I.P

Unfortunately my mother (the inspiration for golden age computing) died on the 14th of November. I will continue to operate golden age computing as a dedication to her memory.

IMPORTANT!!

Unfortunately I have had to put Golden Age Computing on hold for a while. I will endeavour to continue A.S.A.P. Unfortunately, my mother (the inspiration behind the scheme) went into a diabetic coma on the 14th September. She stopped breathing for a while and has suffered severe brain damage. At the time of writing this  she has come out of the coma (after 4 months). As you can imagine my main priority right now lays with hospital visiting so I have put my work on this scheme to one side for now. Chris will continue the work he is doing so brilliantly.
Thank you. John
